Equality: a Platfform for all
Mental health is a universal human experience. Here’s what we’re doing to be an organisation for all.
Equality, diversity and inclusion at Platfform
No charity that works to contribute to people’s wellbeing can do so effectively if they do not participate in calling out prejudices that strip people of identity, dignity, and agency.
We are working to be effective allies in the fight against racism, discrimination, and inequality at all levels of society. We also recognise that we have a lot to do inside Platfform, and have committed to an ongoing action plan. This plan helps us to educate ourselves, to challenge our own bias, and to make a genuine contribution to a more equal Wales.
We are also working with partner organisations, such as Diverse Cymru, to make sure that we’re getting this right. Find out more about this work below:

Statement on racism, and the urgent action we are taking
There has recently been intense protest, discussion and scrutiny of racism in modern society. For many individuals and organisations, this has meant a new recognition of the fact that silence and complacency play a major role in allowing racism to continue.
