Gwent Out of Work Service
Find your path forwards
If you’ve been out of work due to mental health and/or substance use challenges, or feel that those challenges are affecting your confidence, we can work with you to figure out your next step.
The Gwent Out of Work Service focuses on your goals, strengths and abilities, providing training & inspiration to overcome the challenges you face, learn the skills you need and build the confidence you want.
Ready to move forward? If you’re based in Caerphilly County Borough, Newport, Blaenau Gwent, Torfaen, Monmouthshire aged 16 – 24 and not in education, employment or training or 25+ and long-term unemployed and want to get back into work, upskill or to build your confidence our team can work with you to create an individually-tailored programme.

Platfform’s Pathways to Employment project offers community, training and inspiration to overcome the challenges you face. You can meet people who have experienced similar challenges, get information to support for your wellbeing, access training to learn the skills you need and build the confidence you want.
Ready to move forward? If you’re over 18 and would like support to access employment, training, volunteering and wellbeing support we can work with you to create an individually-tailored programme.

Funded by the Caerphilly Borough Council’s Pathways to Employment.
Participants from Pathways to Employment can access the online Welcome Space, a relaxed, no-pressure weekly get together. People come along to chat in a friendly atmosphere and there’s optional crafts, music, creative projects and wellbeing courses.
