Seibiant Sanctuary: a welcoming place in a crisis

The Seibiant Sanctuary offers support in a mental health crisis, at times when most  other services are closed.

The Seibiant Sanctuary offers a welcoming space for those experiencing crisis, and who are in need of mental health support. The service is available in Cardiff and the Vale, and is accessed by dialling the NHS helpline 111 and selecting option 2. Our Sanctuary team offers advice, support and a safe space to breathe and connect.

What’s available?

    • Emotional support through a trauma‑informed and relational approach

    • Help with signposting for further support

    • General guidance around housing and other related issues

    • Essential food, toiletries, and clothing

How to access support?

We are located in Roath, Cardiff, and are open every day of the year from 5pm until 1am. The first step is to call the NHS 111 helpline by dialling 111 and pressing 2.

If appropriate, the NHS 111 team will refer over to the Sanctuary and one of our team will aim to call you within 30 minutes. We offer telephone support, and also face to face appointment the same evening.
