What is Cwtch?
Cwtch is a free psychological service for adults experiencing difficulties with their mental health and alcohol, drug or substance use. Our focus is on creating a sense of purpose, community and connection for people. Our team of psychologists and practitioners provide therapeutic support for people across Swansea, Neath and Port Talbot.
Cwtch offers free advice and support at drop-in coffee sessions in Swansea and Port Talbot, so people can access direct support without needing to come via another service or sitting on a waiting list.

Who is it for?
- Adults living within Swansea, Neath or Port Talbot who are experiencing difficulties with both their mental health and substance/alcohol use
- Professionals working in this area who would like psychological and traumainformed
advice, support or training on these topics. Support is also available for staff wellbeing.
What’s available?
- Drop-in sessions in Swansea and Port Talbot for people with lived experience to
connect over a cuppa, and get advice from the Cwtch team as needed - Support linking in with other local sevices
- Group activities within the community to connect with others
- Mental health workshops
- Individual talking therapy with traumainformed psychologists, counsellors and
practitioners - Support for professionals via consultation, reflective spaces, and team formulation.
