National Employability Week 2025 draws to a close, and we hear from Peer Mentor, Will Nicholas, on how this valuable employment service, which once supported him back to work, gives people hope, confidence and self-belief.

With National Employability Week launching in the UK this week, we hear from James Symes, Partnership Lead for Platfform's Employment Services team, who gives us an insight into his journey from the time he received support to a complete role reversal, where he now leads on developing partnerships within the team.

Platfform stands with the LGBTQ+ community, including trans people, and we believe that doing so is fundamental to the mission of any charity that aims to uphold mental health and social justice.

As Wales embarks on a new community mental health journey  with Welsh Government’s recently published strategy, we look at why there’s reasons to be hopeful – and the places we can already see change happening.

It’s time for real change in Wales; for us to hear the voices of activists, people with lived experience of poor mental health, and staff within the system who have seen things not working. For their tireless campaigning to be reflected and enshrined in Government intent – and for that intent to turn into tangible action.
