Make time for family and friends
Good relationships are good for your health. Your friends and family can help you to celebrate good times, and provide perspective and support in difficult times.
Developing and maintaining good relationships involves give and take. Many of us lead such busy lives that it’s easy to forget to make quality time for family and friends. We can all get tied down with our busy schedules and balancing responsibilities but connecting with those that we love is essential to our wellbeing and our sense of happiness.
Try to plan in time with the people you enjoy spending time with before your week gets busy or booked up. It can be as simple as catching up without your phone and other digital distractions, going for a walk in a local park or making dinner together. The simpler the activity, the better, as the point is to be present with the people you care about.
