Leaders and Changemakers: building a better future together
Our Wales Week In London 2024 event
A relaxed evening of conversation, connection and wellbeing. Together, we can recognise our shared work towards a more compassionate approach to mental health and wellbeing.
(28/02/2024, 5:45pm, Pride of London, Westminster Millennium Pier)
The Platfform team invite you to join us for a relaxed evening of conversation, connection and wellbeing.
Following the successful launch of our Manifesto and Platfform Wellbeing at 2023’s Wales Week London, we are pleased to return with another networking opportunity to further our mission for change.
We all recognise the huge challenges facing the mental health system currently – so it’s essential that we keep building a network and community for connection, healing, and change.
Our society’s helping systems aren’t working. They need redesigning to take into account the things that are really affecting our collective mental health – poverty, adversity, injustice and trauma. We’ve all got a role to play in positive change.
This gathering offers engaging conversations, valuable connections, and reflection. We’re bringing together industry leaders, social change makers, and supporters from the public, private, and third sectors – all with a shared interest in doing things differently.
We understand the power of collaboration in driving our mission for positive change. Join us for an evening, as we recognise and build our collective efforts towards a more compassionate approach to mental health and wellbeing.
We will be joined by our guest speaker, Darren McGarvey. Darren, also known by the stage name Loki, is a writer, columnist and hip hop recording artist, and has made regular media appearances as a social commentator.
Wednesday 28th February 2024, from 5:45pm, onboard the Pride of London.
